SJ Lane
I've done some firings in a trash can with burnished bisque white earthenware. I wrapped some pieces in moss with coarse salt and wrapped in aluminum foil. When the firing was completed, some pieces had the aluminum foil embedded into the clay. Looks like it is literally melted into the clay body. I read that aluminum melts at 1220 degrees so I'm guessing my fire it too hot?
