Paula Jean
Hello, I have been underglazing for about a year and have not had this issue before. The past two firings (fired by a friend), my bright reds that were bisque fired, and looked fine, but then were glaze fired and looked hazy. Anyone have this issue before and if so, do you know how to correct it? Is it a glaze issue or a firing issue? Please help! Thank you!
Bill Kielb
Can you post pictures. Maybe something good and something hazy?
Roberta12
Are you putting a clear glaze over the top (I assume so). I get the hazy look if I get the glaze too thick. Or if I have thinned the radiant red too much (I sort of paint with the underglazes and blend colors) Roberta
