sydneytaylor 0
Hello all! I’ve been wanting to play with mason stains to color my cone 6 porcelain (slip casting) clay body. I eventually want to get a feel for the whole spectrum of colors and my goal is to use combinations of different stains to get unique colors. I know that you can find out which stains are tried and true on Mason Stain’s reference guide for clay bodies but I’m curious as to what stains you all would recommend to go with for starters! I’m also wondering if you guys have played with any stains that aren’t recommended for body stains but still worked and didn’t burn out. Thanks for your time!
