I like fired porcelain without actual glaze application on some pieces I am creating, but I do want it somewhat sealed so dirt doe not settle /attach and discolor over time the piece. It is not functional ware. It is decorative decor.
I'd like whatever suggestions you offer be for clear. No colorant added.
I believe I heard someone say a gertsley borate wash ... What ratio to water?
Any other ideas?

... it’s one part soda ash to three parts boiling water .., only make enough for one use and don’t throw any leftovers down your drains! One coat is soft eggshell, two gets shinier And three looks like a clear glaze.
