SRenterprise
Always fired Electric kiln to cone 6 in out side shed, now in air conditioned studio. Will this change the firing or should I turn off the air?
liambesaw
It'll probably be a waste of energy to air condition the room while the kiln is on, since you'll be pumping air through the vent to outside, but other than that it would probably be like firing outdoors on a nice warm spring day
neilestrick
The AC won't affect the firing, but the firing will affect the AC. Like Liam said, you'll probably want to turn it off until the kiln has cooled most of the way down or else you'll just be wasting energy.
