Aliceuk
Hello everybody! I would like to play with some clay for some jewellery, but unfortunately I dont have a kiln. So,my question is : can I find a clay that fires in the oven max of 250 degrees Celsius, a white one that can be glazed and look like ceramic and not like plastic after it dries ? I would very much like to play with porcelain, but as I said, I dont have a kiln. And I wonder if there is anything that is close to that in result, but with the conditions written above! Thank u so much!!
Sorcery
I was contemplating buying a kiln once, just for the shelves. Had a friend tell me what I'm going to tell you. Git you a kiln! Sorce

neilestrick
Without a kiln you can't do anything with actual clay and glaze. Oven Bake clay does not harden to a permanent state. Polymer clay is going to be your best bet.
