I am as well. I am near the Portland, OR area.

I am willing to drive up to 2 hours to pick it up/meet someone.

Also looking for a small Skutt kiln that is in good working use. Possibly someone who has outgrown theirs and wants to sell to buy a bigger one?

Medeah  I have seen a lot of used kilns and wheels on the Craigslist listing.   I am in Kansas and they usually list Oklahoma and Kansas together.  Oklahoma had a better selection and the prices were reasonable.  I was shopping for a tile saw.   You need to check the listings once a week,  Evans Ceramics  in Wichita sells used equipment,  they usually have a couple of kilns and sometimes a wheel or small slab roller.    You could call them and check out their inventory.     Denice

I also have had good finds on Craigs list in my area. I picked up a cone 10 Olympic electric for $200!  You can find some real bargains.  I also recently saw that WalMart online had a wheel for $150....which was pretty astounding.  The specs looked like it would do for regular work....and you can return it if you don't like it.  Also look at school supply sites on Ebay....they often have great deals....especially on shipping. One...schoolspecialty has $5 on anything....like 50 pound sacks of plaster.....only $5 shipping! Amaco clay.....only $5 shipping!
