Jeff Nielson
I understand that there were a few years that the brent wheel controllers where "upgraded" to a new design by Amaco but that it turned out bad. Subsequently, Amaco went back to the old design so when you buy a wheel now, you get the "Brent Classic Controller". If I am looking at buying a new wheel, how do I recognize which are the bad one and which are the good ones? Does anyone know the years that they were making these? http://www.amaco.com/professional-potters/brent-classic-controller-is-back/
neilestrick
The bad ones had the flat control/power panel- flat buttons, not toggles or switches. I was working on one last year and it was doing all sorts of weird stuff. When I called brent they said to give up on trying to fix it and they sent a replacement.
