Lupe
Hi, I would want some advice on buying a used wheel, I've been offered with a Pacifica GT 400 that was bought 16 years ago, never used, apparently working perfectly, and the sell price is 50% of the current market price. I don't have experience on this field, so I'm not sure if a wheel that have been in storage for so long would be a good purchase, I know some wheels are sold for lower prices but this one have been never used, so honestly I don't know if I should even consider the deal. Any advice? Thank you
liambesaw
Just go plug it in and see if it works. It's brand new so a great deal at 50% off. As long as it's been dry it should be fine. I would buy it!
Mark C.
The belts may need replacing or maybe just used as they will have a flat spot on them from the years of sitting. I bought a new Brent wheel-new in the box from 20 years ago-it had a flat spot on the belt-makes a thump thump noise -which may go away with time.
