I picked up Sodium Silicate when I was in Denver but Mile Hi was out of soda ash. Is the soda ash also known as Sodium Carbonate? Also is it the same as washing soda used for laundry? I am a long way from any clay supplier and am trying to locate a local source for the soda ash. Could order it online but if I can get it locally it saves shipping and time.
