How Do You Clean Off Spot On Kiln Lid?

This is one of the questions that people here try very hard to never have to figure out. The kiln lid isn't a work surface!


Now... I would suggest:

If it can be scraped away, go ahead and do that. Remove as much as possible.

If it has some wetness to it, absorb it up with towels and such. Or sprinkle some cheap dry clay on it.

If neither of those is the case, burning it away with a propane torch would be my action.
