This one is bright and fun. I made with the same technique as the other poppy vase, but since it was so tiny it was very little trouble. Interior is glazed in Laguna's Dynasty Red.© Copyright Giselle No. 5 Ceramics (Giselle Massey) 2015, all rights reserved

Wheel thrown in Speckled Buff. I then carved wildflowers and applied Duncan Bright Kiwi underglaze to the grass and stems. After bisque firing I glazed the inside in Laguna's Dynasty Red, the flowers in their Blackberry Wine and Peach Blush with streaks of the red. All over is clear. This was the first thing that sold on the first day of my Open Studio show.© Copyright Giselle No. 5 Ceramics (Giselle Massey) 2015, all rights reserved

My second wheel thrown sponge holder. Slip trail decoration with a mountain scene and crescent moon. The mountains will be rubbed with iron oxide and the rest will be glazed a lovely layered blue that breaks over the slip trailing.© Giselle Massey, Giselle No. 5 Handmade, all rights reserved

My first attempt at sgraffito. I think the clay was a little dry because it didn't carve as easily as I would like.© Giselle Massey, Giselle No. 5 Handmade, all rights reserved
