  1. Hello! This is my first time posting on a forum of any kind! So here it goes! I am wondering how people are setting up shipping for they online stores? I live in the Virgin Islands so will only be able to ship USPS, FED EX and DHL. USPS is what we are going to use. We offer shipping in our gallery and take down credit card info when we get their address and contact information so we can charge them for shipping later. We also add a small shipping and handling fee. Does anyone use ship station? Is my only option trying to guess how much I think the shipping will be then hope I don't l
  2. I just purchased a 24" tabletop photo studio kit to help me with my Etsy site, only to find that the included lights are too dim for even a sunny afternoon in a Tillamook, Oregon pottery studio. I plan to order better lights, and this time I want to be SURE they'll be bright enough for me to showcase my work. I've been pottering for over a decade, but this is the first time I've been serious about photographing/ selling my work, so any and all feedback would be very much appreciated.   3. I get messages like this from time to time from customers. I get lots of repeat business due to having my website stamped on the bottom of my pots. Might be a good new year’s resolution for your pottery business if you are not doing this "We purchased a wonderful mug that my husband loved and drank his tea from each evening, and sadly it broke this evening. It was not the mug it was an Oh No moment. It was various shades of brown toward the top which was cream colored. It was barrel shaped. It kept his tea hot for a very long time. Awesome mug.
