From the album: Handbuilding work
This was my first sculpture ... elephant ringholder for the sink. The two glazes used are a popular combo at the studio but no one warned me that the combo takes on properties not present with either by themselves! The blue completely ran out from under the wine red and pooled around his butt...he had to be chipped off the shelf. He's still waiting to be ground down to make him safe. Overall I'm happy with him. -
