  1. Hello, I recently was given an old Amaco electric potter's wheel no. 1-101. The wheel has not been used in a long time. The wheel head does not switch to the correct direction for throwing. There is also a knocking noise when the wheel is on. I have a basic diagram of the parts and wiring that came with the wheel, but can't figure out where to begin troubleshooting the problem. Any advice will be appreciated.
  2. Just picked up this Creative Industries Ci wheel and can't find any info on it? It sits on an orange metal rectangle table with a brown top. It's in excellent, hardly used condition. Motor is strong and smooth... by "RAE"- does anyone know anything about it? I'm going to try to upload a pic... Also, any ideas for a splash guard that might work? I just got a new Brent CXC, as well as a used Brent C in the past month- then came across this and couldn't resist! It's a great wheel, I would just like to know more about it and hopefully get a splash guard because... well, I'm pretty messy,
  3. Hi I'm having a problem with my pottery wheel, a 2nd hand Gladstone 30 from the UK. The wheel head would turn four times then totally stop, when pressing down on the foot pedal. Can see inside that there's a Hitachi SJ100 controller with the display showing E 10. Looked up the controller online and says E10 means there is an error with the 'current transformer' Did get an electrician to look at it - but its an electronic problem Also have been in touch with Gladstone manufacturers but they say that the only option is to ship it to the UK ... Afraid I live in Ireland, so not a grea
  4. I bought a used Creative Industries, Clay Boss electric wheel. The foot pedal is now malfunctioning. It seems like I need to replace this specific piece. Not sure where I should order this or what it is called. I have not gotten any responses from Speedball.
