Telfer

My community studio has a couple of very old plaster reclaiming tables that are just not as absorbent as they used to be. Is there any way to revive these tables? Would sanding/shaving off the top layers make a difference? Is that even something you can do with plaster without it ending up in all the reclaim? Any and all suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance!
