The popcorn is a fantastic idea. I hate packing peanuts, because they get everywhere and are tough to dispose of. The popcorn, could just be thrown on the lawn, and the birds would take care of it. I wouldn't eat it, because "Ew Air Pop.."
-
That was the original idea. . throw it on the lawn. However, it seems lots of folks see a box of popcorn and party! From what I hear.

The pots are not where I want them . . yet.

Chalice and patens this week, after a few larger bowls, and a canister set. Hope to bisque this weekend, but rain is keeping things wet.

Load of Chalice and paten glaze out last night, popping popcorn and mailing out 5. kiln also had 20+ mugs and some medium sized bowls. I am trying the spray on route with the hazelnut, it was not perfect, but much better than most loads with it so far.

Back from NC, great conference considering everything. Looks like next year they are going to have 3 Japanese potters from Japan, and a tea master for an authentic tea ceremony. I can't remember the names, but it sounded like they should be pretty reputable. John you may know them if I could remember names. Very tired after the long drive.

Getting together Christmas pots for orders and family and friends. Sudden cold makes the shop chilly. Have to wear insulated pants!

Presently in NS. Baddeck soon then PEI then home. Camping(motor home) with 87 year young Dad.

I hope it's going well with your dad, my mother-inlaw is 90 and she can get pretty feisty. Her car has been in the shop and I have been driving her every where. She's a good driver, isn't use to being stuck at home and is getting a little frustrated. Denice

I did a road trip to the grand canypn with my dad when he was 87. One of my best memories of him.
-
I wanted to do a short trip this summer with my Dad, but sadly he died this March at the age of 91. Enjoy every day with your Dad Pres!

Just on the big island last year. Always wondered about the cost of setting up a studio in the islands. I imagine clay can be expensive.
Nice pieces, Are you using a Bailey extruder? One of their standard dies does the sea shell/bowl sort of thing. Used it in the 80's for some stuff, but not as nice as yours.
