Three absolutely beautiful maidens ! I like the expressions. The textures and shades of brrown suit the figures very well. The clothes, wings and hats, I assume they are made of fabric? They look too extremely delicate and thin to be made of clay. What kind of clay did you use? How tall are they?
  2. Characters are excellent! Very lifelike with good expressions - also your other one. I assume they have not been glazed yet? - without glaze & colour they look a bit dull.
  3. Very frightening but cute little monster! I like the glaze too.
  4. Lovely form, stunning colours. Great piece of work!
  5. Great piece of work, lovely pattern & suitable colours !!!

Very interesting form, I like it. However it looks a bit monotonous without glaze & colour.

I like the form of this pot as well as the colour/glaze. A great piece!
  8. I love the forms, all of them, but this one the most. You are very creative with your forms - It shows that it is not necessary to spin everything in a perfectly round shape on a wheel. I also like the texture and glaze on this one.
  9. When the pot is taken out of the kiln, horse hair is thrown on the glowing pot, this then etches the squiggly paterns as they burn into it.

    Marbling clay

Lovely. It looks exactly like the patterns on the planet Jupiter.
  11. Very beautiful !! I like the colours on the inside. Would love to know how you did it
  12. Very interesting. To me it looks like biscuits glued together in a sticky honey or toffee sauce. What exactly it really is I'm not sure. But that's my interpretation anyway.
  13. I really like the baggy, floppy form.
  14. Well done. Very interesting to me, because apart from the cracks, it does not have the unpredictable colours/glase of what normally makes Raku popular - the pattern and colours are very "formal". (So it makes me wonder what defines "Raku", and what would have been lost if it was created by normal firing) The form is also very interesting - it reminds me of pots made out of wood by turning it in a lathe.
  15. I like the organic pattern very much. Would be interesting to know how you did it.
  16. It looks fantastical. Like some weird creature from the depths of the ocean, or like a part of a horny mythical beast. Did you use paperclay or just ordinary clay? I assume it is very fragile.
  17. If you stare at it long enough it starts spinning!

I like their expression - the way they look at you.
  19. The sound of water falling is so beautiful and therapeutic ! It is maybe a primitive instinct we have of being certain of survival with fresh water. With such water features you should think about making a bit of money on the side with them, if you not already are
  20. Fantastic ! Beautiful pattern, and I like the rustic colours.
  21. This is very beautiful. I would love to hear what it SOUNDS like. I think just as beautiful. Backyard and courtyard "water features" have become very popular where I live, people spend thousands of dollars on them. I don't know about elsewhere in the world. Some are beautiful, some really ugly pieces of stainless steel, some look more like a urinal, and some are really kitch.
  22. Great design and beautiful colours ! (If it is functional and not just an ornament - even better)

    Stay

    Very expressive faces !
