I love anthropomorphic pots and this piece captures that feeling very well.

Fits my hand, light grey clay 25% fine grog, coloured with engobes, bisque fired, then transparent glaze.

Light grey clay, fine grog 25%, finished with ordinary acryllic paint (didn't want to spoil my first nice results with beginners glazing mistakes...)

This is a great project for a museum I was lucky enough to work on. They wanted a poem put onto a 8x8in tile with raised lettering so people could take rubbing from it. This was the test piece about 6x6in. The underglaze is meant to look like soot.

My first attempt at putting portraits on clay. First image had to be Bowie. It's an ongoing process

I like the way they stack together mimicking the organic petals of real flowers.

I decided to decorate this cup in this design to cover a divot from where I dropped it onto another cup! Now you'd never know.

Wheel thrown and hand carved. The bottom features a leaf design created by using paper leaves as a resist to the underglaze. Sgraffito designs were added along with a pulled handle and spiral embellishments. Fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln.

Neodymium (rare earth) 5%, with 0.10% iron.
