      It was way up in Newport. :) David and I were in the mood to travel, so we went up north through Newport, then Sandpoint, then to CDA, then home. :) We found such treasures!!

  3. Thinking about starting private lessons from inside my home. My health is crashing fast, and pottery is getting harder every day, but I have a lot of knowledge to share. :) I think I could take a couple students under my wing.

      I literally passed out with the phone still in my paw. Soooo sore today, haha... gotta babysit Fred now. :)

  5. A couple of yahoos were racing on the highway at 2:30am, crashed, and knocked out the power in three small towns. My Fred was firing when the power was cut, hnnngh... He got back online, though. :)

      My 7k generator natural gas keeps me working thru outages -that said its not enough to fire an electric kiln with my other loads

  6. I'm one tired guinea pig. Made seven yarn bowls and two medium-large food bowls, trimmed and pencil sketched. Gonna be kyoot! WIP pics to come. :) I sure miss my 30-piece a sitting days, though...

      Whooo! :) Good for you! I made three vases yesterday (needed to bring leatherhard vases to a workshop tomorrow) and it knocked me out.

  10. I just learned from one of my longtime clients that a bun of hers I made a portrait of passed last night. It always hits deep, hearing that. Through my art, I feel like I know them in spirit. :'( I guess I'm weird...

      I stepped outside this morning to find a warm 34 degrees. We have one car that's good on ice and a truck for snow and flooding.

      Omg it's 35F and it feels soooo WEIRD!! We haven't been this warm in ages! Now we have frozen rain, though...goodie. D: Give me two feet of snow over that Devil Snot any day!

      I know that Fred is insulated, but one of the windows is broken out, so it's 0F in the garage. It got down to -4F last night... Thankfully, this cold snap is abating. I'm just gonna wait!!
