Well, I finally managed to throw a form over the 12" tall mark. Managed to do it without it wobbling and spiraling. Just think, in another two years I might actually be good at throwing.

Took a week off from clay and went Camping in remote Eastern Oregon with my newly retired wife its calfing season on the antelope refuges

Maybe finally found my main glaze for my work.. Firing it on a few larger pieces tonight.

Glaze fire IN! As usual on the strength of one good test I have done something new with a whole kiln load because apparently I'm insane. I think it's going to be fine, though. I'm 98% sure.

I had thought of applying to show five cups in the Cup: The Intimate Object show at the Charlie Cummings gallery in the fall. I was a bit intimidated by the resume requirement. Do they only accept artists with formal training and a degree? I was curious if anybody knows.
