I am glad you are getting your hands in clay again.   I am finishing a dog sculpture and thinking about throwing some mugs like yours.   Marc posted a photo of one of his teapots,  I thought that might be my next project but I need to do some practice throwing first.   My hands are a mess,  a new flip finger and arthritis is playing havoc on my hands.  If I am unable to throw I may have to get my flip finger fixed.   Denice

Tho I am not-never was-a volume or very active potter, I can relate to where you're at. Certain circumstances (incl. being 77 and tired LOL) have left me seriously considering selling it all. I have a fully functioning studio in my home, but can no longer throw & the kiln is way  too big-takes forever to fill.  I have limitations affecting the actual work process (wedging/glazing etc.) and that led to a lot of clay and glaze needing to be rehydrated (hate doing it). AND YET....I recently got an invite to participate in a small local craft fair and now I want to (maybe) give the whole thing  another go. I'm going to do the fair and see how I feel about it afterwards. The discussions here help a lot-the sense of community helps/feels good, , even if I'm not that active.
