I can't say exactly where I have been hiding, but my Mayan is certainly getting better

I did not realize the CIA had covert clay operations
-
We lost a friend in the same jungle. Did you run across him?
-
And hes gone again!
-
In my non-clay world, I deal with hackers and data security...it is no contest, clay is much more fun even when it is frustrating

With temps a little cool in the studio, 'tis the season for carving new stamps while propped up in front of the fireplace.

Same here, my studio gets a little heat from the house. It's enough to keep it from freezing. I use a electric heater that looks like a radiator for warmth.
-
It's freezing here. 72°. Hey how do you keep warm enough to work?
-
wish i had a fireplace. computer is on desk in unheated porch. going down to 40s tonight.

-
Best wishes for a New Year to you and everyone at CAD/PC.

I allowed someone into my studio on Christmas day...I don't do that. But I'm thinking that its going to be OK if I 'open up' a little more. Still processing that thought.

Did the visitor arrive via the chimney, wearing a red coat, black boots and a beard?
-
Thanks all! Chilly, It could be. I was busy at that time feeding ill-parked reindeer
-
Can I come over? hehe
-
Received an Etsy order just after midnight...with request to have it shipped "in the next hour'...hmmm, that would be a "No"

-
Diesel...thankful I've not had that experience.
Nerd...make it 2.5 hours and we're good
-
What the? That's just clueless.
-
Diesel: Yep. Have had that happen many times. I refuse to copy anybody else's work.
-
That moment when you back up to a loading dock and a forklift approaches with a full pallet of dry materials...and you look at your SUV and say, "Sorry, Bud"
-
Starting to get a feel for what a "rhythm" looks like in the balancing act of 'making and marketing'...'makes me appreciate much more those who do this full time in the clay world.

Lol Still haven't found my rhythm. Someday ...
-
Neverfound mine!
-
I'm singing, "I...got rhythm, (stomps left foot, claps hands out of rhythm with foot stomp, and repeat which singing out of key and off beat) Me too Paul.
-
Switching to double-thickness corrugated outer boxes today for shipping...for sanity's sake if nothing else (& being a good Santa).
-
I get the heavy duty ones from Home depot. I ordered smaller shipping boxes from line or Ebay or from a local storage office.
-
At the auto parts store I work at, we throw hundreds of boxes away each week. The supply truck comes Tues, Thurs, and Sat.! So all week long...we throw boxes away!!!
-
alabama, Wow!

Happy Thanks Giving!

Likewise Paul. Thank you for all you do here for everyone.

Kiln reached cone 10 about 30 minutes ago...now to walk away (and stay away) for about 30 hours. #Whew
-
Exhausted. Must glaze on Sunday. Must fire on Tuesday. Must learn to say "no".

I am a Nerd; what did you expect? I read dictionaries for fun.
-
Feeling the same crunch time here too. Only 3 more days to make greenware for the semester!
-
Crunch time. Wrapping up custom orders for the holidays and looking forward to a little break around Christmas.
-
Keepng my fingers crossed...there is a small home with a large clay studio on the market in a nearby county...'will see it Sunday.
-
Yes. I have a new gravatar...some young kid with a white beard (Note: I have to upload from a URL, not by browsing to an image on my computer).

Lucky you even have an avatar
-
Notifying forum board: someone hi-jacked Paul's account.
-
...you'd think the least they could do is put more hair on the top, right?
-
I have new Gallery images of mugs with underglaze image transfers from my CriCut Explore silkscreen tests...meander over and take a look, pls.
-
First efforts at using CriCut for silkscreen, printing underglaze onto rice paper, and then transferring images to pots...pretty darned successful. 'Learned a lot!
-
Glaze fire cooling day and I'm already out of fingernails to chew...oh, the agony!

Isn't that the best.......... I get that with about 95% of my test. There is always a single gem if you look hard enough in the sunlight.
-
What did you fire? (:
-
The reason I took candy out of my studio: was nibbling on it instead of my nails. Nails have fewer calories.
-
I'm just now getting on the screenprinting bandwagon for transfers...and the CriCut option for making silkscreen masks is a game changer...yep, that's all I need...another ADHD design option #smh

-
Hey! What have you got against the ADHD squirrel?!?
-
I know something about obsessive behaviors.
-
I haven't screen printed using stencils, but it's something I hope to do this year. I have a Silhouette Portrait. It I choose it because it integrates well with Adobe Illustrator. I use mine for stencils. And, Paul, it's only ADHD, for well, what was I talking about? hehe. Enjoy my friend. Oh, I went to YouTube University to learn how. Grajumentated tip of the glass.
-
I've been asked to make some bisque molds for chili bowls...as persnickety as I am about trimming feet, trimming the bottom completely round may put me into therapy

I survived, GlazeNerd...although I was Riesling-ing footer clay everywhere!
-
Wait until I start throwing here soon. I will be redoing the walls with mud slung plaster technique.
-
I'm not sure what all this means, but take pictures, please.
