  1. I am looking for suggestions to facilitate glazing in the classroom using commercial glazes. I usually have three tables of five students each. Students are provided with sponges, brushes and water along with their bisqueware. I am looking for suggestions on how to organize the glazes so students can easily choose their colors and to not be wasteful. I would appreciate any ideas you may have.
  2. Thank you for sharing your "Student's Guide." I have been teaching ceramics in a rec department and after school setting for more that 20 years. Although the commitment and interest level of my students is probably not as high a standard as yours, I will be able to pass on some of your ideas on commitment and artistic development. Thanks, too, for your "no nonsense" way of writing--very refreshing. Sincerely, Candace Birchfield
