I saw a post you had in January that you purchased a Pacifica wheel in 1972. I just purchased a Pacifica wheel probably about the same age. The wheel is a GT500, contacted Laguna and they have never heard of a gt500.
I am trying to find out what hp the motor is and was wondering if you happen to know.

Well....all done. Went out and turned it onto High finally. Fifteen minutes later, it shut off. The gap in the front of the lid was up to about a half inch.

i am husband of amateur potter, and my duties were to find kiln on Craig’s list and install it, buy sink and install clay trap, and of course to enjoy all the products of my wife’s work...

very nice studio and work done in it! your wife should be very happy there. she needs a nice, padded cushion on the stool. she will sit on it for a long time and being comfortable helps a lot.
it looks like you found a great kiln for her on craigslist, too.

Yay---my slab roller handle was not functioning and I was stymied on how to fix it. It was getting me down, really! A friend came by and within 3 minutes had it working again. Something about using the Allen wrench in the right place!

congratulations on finding a house! a real, free-standing on its own land house? they are hard to come by anywhere especially in england! even if it is a hole in the wall, it will be a hole you can work in, that will make you happy.

Annual clay order comes in next week. 33,000 #s total -my share is 25,000#s.I odered a ton of dry glaze in 50# bags my formula-lasts me 5 years-I mix another 14 glazes to go along with it.

Working on a soft blue glaze today to celebrate the gender of my baby on the way. I think I might do some limited edition work in a very soft robins egg blue since that is my favorite mason stain to date. Finally getting some time in the studio again. Life is crazy.

Finished four chapters, have drawn several charts and graphs. About 35% done! but have most outlines done. Took off Febuary and most of this month, have to go back shortly.

I've been doing pottery for 10 weeks at the Pioneer Crafthouse at SLC.

It's a bit chilly here this week and my wheel is in a shed that is outdoors with a gas heater. -27C so maybe I should think of something else to do.

Back to work for two weeks then a new hip for my wife-two weeks off for me then to caretake.
