this is the result of being at a demo by Kim Kirchman at the Highwater clay location in florida.

pieces made with Mahoe Hibiscus leaves and other florida leaves during the winter of 2014-15.

shows drawing of peaches inspired by a printed card bought at the Ashmolean museum in london. the final platter was bought by a professional grower of peaches near winchester, va.

just things i have been working on, empty bowls and some flat things for sale at fairs.

it all fits in a 10x16 foot shed.

new design for imprinting pots. fake flowers made with leaves of Tibouchina, the end of a potato peeler and my ball stylus. layout is ok but i want to do another one.

some pots i really like for the holiday sale and packing them up for transport.

found this tiny plant in tampa. nursery owner said it was stunted by lack of rain all summer. biggest leaf only 1 inch. rolled out slab for mold.

did a combination of the lovebirds i usually put on cracker trays along with some of the heart shaped leaves. like the results so far. need to cut new lovebirds from a thinner craft foam sheet since this looks so deep. it won't with glaze in it.

glazing will happen when the pots go to west va in april.

most of these pots were re-fired to intensify the green glaze color.  spraying glaze on bisque is much harder than spraying glaze on greenware.     the wide open background is very difficult to cover evenly and without a mark to mar it.  so, the need to refire.  i am very fortunate, everything came out well this time.
