Phooey--table top slab roller is "stuttering"--all bodies, all thicknesses. Might be a broken sprocket. I hate having to take things apart and not being able to use something until I figure out what is wrong, how to fix it, and then do it, if I can.

The fires raging in OK are signs of the draught. We are expecting more snow later this week. I am going to fire saggars all day while I can. The last snowfall missed us yesterday but dropped 10" on Great falls to the north.

I had an unpredicted sunny day today and fired some saggars. And firing a bisque with 3 larger pieces for more saggars.Tomorrow my obvara brew will be ready and friends are coming to fire with me. Yay. show pieces due may 6. been sweating bullets with the weather.

just checking to see where you are. Great falls was colder than here 27 F right now. Yesterday it was 45 and the day before with snow was 9-12 F 3 inches but disappeared by afternoon.

you beat me, Pres. I stayed over at a friend's in Billings. Doing laundry today. Had a great time hanging out with you and the others. Also caught Spring's very personal talk on her own educational experiences from travelingl. It was great to meet her in person.

Let’s keep my rental for wed. kathryn is worried about fitting into acom[act. I don’t think she is that big. Russel Fouts is the other. maybe you can drive for the receptions. Enterprise is right near the Convention center and out\r hotel. The Drury. If you want to come with us, we are suppose to pick it up at around 9. Let me know if that works for you. Are you arriving Tues? Hkathryn is worried about her flight being canceled;led.Russel is coming from Belgium. We have Tues night at the Drury. When is the PC reception?

One minor wound on my hand from the metal but I'm ok- did the basic construction of the raku kiln frame today then took it to a metal shop for a clean up of my work plus some nice big handles.

Dropped off work at 5 outlets yesterday-only two more to cover before the tropics-I'm taking the lead that Pres started.
