Snow Ridge. 2010. 18 1/4†x 24 1/4†x 1/4†d. ^06. Commercial tile with my hand painted decals. It is based on photograph I took in February 2010 along Minnehaha Creek. The ducks were huddling along side a snow ridge on the banks of Minnehaha Creek. It was subzero and only one small stretch had open water. The ducks’ beauty and tenacity given the stark snow and the freezing temperatures was inspiring and a testament about life.
