This slab is made of Death valley clay, helmet Kaoling was rolled into the surface, then stretched to cause the crack surface, then Bauer dry flashing skip was applied over paper masking, a pot was fired on top.
I think of "in search of Jasper Johns when I look at it. I really love this one.
