Try 1.5% carb and 1/2% black cop.

nerd, i just peeked at the refiring and see that the increase to 5% copper and a very heavy application may do the trick.  stuff on the top shelf is dark enough.  WOO HOO!!!!!

Old Lady, I know you are working on glazes in these photos but I have to say your trays are exquisite!

thanks, roberta, terry buffington, pugaboo did the tree with her special cutting machine.  the surrounding border is a paper i got many years ago in oregon.  i only had enough for this design but a friend who was with me then had a long piece so i made the long tray, too.  flocked tissue paper doesn't sound very sturdy but that is what it is.
