Yes, at this point it still greenware until most of the sticks catch fire...then if you listen the vessel starts to make pinging sounds, so when a vessel pings and there isn't cracks on the finished product I assume its crossing over to ceramics.

I looked at other photos in your gallery and the vase with the incised design (dogs in

background)reminds me of a pot I bought in

an antique shop years ago. The dealer

thought it was from central America. It is a pit fired bowl with 3 legs and a roughly etched design. I bought it because I liked

the primitive quality of the piece.
