Grullo 'Pixie' Traditional Scale Foal in Earthenware

'Pixie' is a sculpture by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig of a new born foal.  'Tradtional' scale this lovely piece was produced in fine art grade earthenware ceramic by Pour Horse Pottery.  I got her directly from Joanie Berkowitz more than a decade ago and never got around to glazing this foal until 2023.  I have finished her to a grullo overo with blue eyes in satin glaze.  All work fired in the kiln between cones 04 and 016 using underglazes and overglazes.   She stands 6.5 inches tall by the same length.
