Ready for glaze fire.

The depth bit on the caliper is handy for poking out the teapot lid's breathing hole.
Do you blow out the hole the first time (liner glaze)?
How about the teapot spout? Do you blow out the excess as part of the liner glaze step?

The ketchup squirter is handy for several glazing jobs.
...yep, the tape label reads "Min IV" - it's my liner glaze, a whiteish clear.

Taping the foot ring gives me a clean line, and, AND a finger hold for pushing the ware upside down into the glaze.
Removing the tape (low over the trash can, so the bits all fall in), last thing before setting the ware down after dipping, is just right, for the glaze isn't dry enough to dust up.
