Custom Glazed 'Otto' - Snotty Pony

This is the earthenware sculpture 'Otto' produced by Pour Horse Pottery and sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig.  I have custom glazed this piece for a client to a very dark liver chestnut tobiano pinto with a flaxen mane and tail, with a blue eye.  Difficult to photograph, his color is nearly black with coppery hues with hints of gold and copper in his mane and tail.  This piece stands about 6 inches tall, private collection and glazed by Hyn Patty at temperatures ranging between cone 04 for underglazing, cone 06 for satin clear with high glossed eye, hooves and nostrils, and cone 017 for china paints.  Completed 2022.
