This piece was the first. Have tried to replicate that delicate curve. Even made a template. Nothing has equaled this original.

The glaze is easy to replicate. 4 glazes on the outside.

It's all about the curve!

I'd been ribbing the outside, smoothing the rim, then shaping from the inside. Now I'm ribbing the outside, smoothing the rim, shaping from the inside - a bit past the curve at the bottom and into recurve at the top, then re-shaping with the rib from the outside - back into the curve, and finally, touching up the rim.

...might have it down in a few years...

Cool look overall...but I find the unglazed portion at the bottom less than pleasing. Would it be possible with your glaze combo to bring one of the glazes to near the bottom without having it run?

I with you, but I do think the setting is increasing the contrast, and the less than pleasing look. On a white countertop it will probably look better.
