I began studying pottery in an intensive summer program when I was in high school in Virginia in the early 1970's and have been fascinated with clay ever since. I have also taken classes at a number of different schools and art centers in NY, NJ and PA.
About ten years ago I began using porcelain (Standard 257) as my clay body. I finally set up a small studio at home after obtaining my own wheel (Brent C) and an old, very small L & L kiln which I only use for bisque firing. I fire to cone ten in a gas kiln at an arts center in Pennsylvania.
