About Me

Graduated from art school in 1975 with a B.F.A. Honours. Worked at a production pottery in Scotland, with Robert Sanderson.[see The Log Book]

Apprenticed to the late Michael Cardew in Cornwall, Great Britain, 1978-79.Ceramic technician back in Canada for a year.

Graduated with an M.F.A. from the New York state College of Ceramic, Alfred, N.Y.,1982.

Got my B.Ed. degree in 1985. Been teaching art to high school students, these last 31 years.In 2012. I was awarded the Canadian High School art educator of the year.In 2009, We went on a teacher exchange to Australia.

Three years ago, I built my dream studio with heat in the floor, behind my house. I had spent 26 years in a co-operative studio on the second floor of a warehouse. No more stairs for me!
