  1. Tom Thank you. this series “one small fish” is a reflection on Autism to swim alone as one small fish in a giant ocean.
  2. Thank you, I got lucky with the glaze breaks.
  3. No, it didn’t warp when I stuck it together it was off a little depending on what angle you look, I figured I’d just go with it sometimes you have to know when to quit. The glaze is cream with speckles dusted with red/gold.
  4. Dh, really beautiful glaze combination it complements your forms nicely.
  5. Times were very different when I was in college back in the 1970’s the whole getting sued thing wasn’t so out of control. I lived very near my local community college and the ceramics professor gave me a key to the studio so I could help fire the kilns, two big old alpines.
  6. Joseph, very nice, l think you should be pleased and I like it a lot.

I did splash some additional cobalt and iron oxide on the lower third but you can't really see that in the picture.

No, no tin just cobalt oxide with water and dish soap experiment over a mix of coyote cone 6 glaze under the oxide and finished with a low fire clear third fire.
  13. Hi Tom, yep, a bit of a departure... my oldest daughter is feeling stressed running her business and wants to paint on some pottery and unwind. I was doing an underglaze sample test piece and it got out of hand, the plate had a crack in the rim and I had to remove the crack after deciding it was possibly worth keeping beyond more than an underglaze test. Also I've been wanting to experiment with some of the desert and mountain color and texture I've been living.
