After having been a piano teacher for a long time, I changed profession 13 years ago. I had my ceramics education mainly in the following ceramics schools: el torn, Barcelona (Spain), La Meridiana, Certaldo/Firenze (Italy) and Keramikakademie Freiburg (Germany). I feel especially drawn to alternative firing (pit fire, barrel fire, saggars fired in pits).

Just found an email from my supplier: Southern Ice porcelain clay is available again. I'am a happy camper!
There's a topic "Community Challenge Idea" in the Studio. If possible, everybody go there and give your input. Thanks.
3:01 our time, or 15:01 your time make a 2 lb. cup on 3,2,1? Go! Then, we are on the honor system, to make one in less than 20 minutes.
