About Me

I have been drawing and painting since my beloved grandmother first put a crayon in my hand at the tender age of two. My favored subjects have always been of animals, favoring fantasy creatures as a child, and rabbits, guinea pigs, kitsune (Japanese fox spirits), and eastern Asian dragons as an adult. I work best with representational imagery.
My illustrations have been featured in numerous publications, from Dr. Laurel Hansen's "Urban Ants of North America," to cover and interior illustrations at fantasy and anthropomorphic conventions for anthologies or congoer handbooks. My pottery is a fairly recent discovery in the span of my 30-year span of making art, but one which has led me on an enriching journey full of triumph and humbling lessons. I believe I may delve into sculpture one day very soon, but spinning clay beneath my fingers will always bring me joy.
