Thanks Mark, it really has been a wonderful experience for me and a real important part of my life.
I live in Prince George, B.C., Canada. Mainly, my work is functional. I use my own found clay and other materials as much as possible. Currently I am on a self guided study of glaze chemistry. I have mineral titles to a cone 32 clay that is near where I live. This clay makes me feel "grounded" spiritually, physically, intellectually and emotionally. I feel very connected to it. A Cherokee medicine woman told me I am an "earth" person. She pointed this out on a day where I had just finished digging 1800 lbs of clay with a friend. Instead of feeling tired, I was absolutely energized. It is definitely my element.
