I received a BFA from BGSU in December of 2013, I discovered clay there and now I have a small home studio with a Clay Boss wheel and a refurbished Even-heat 2329 (^8) . unfortunately i don't get the time that I'd like in the studio right now as I am working my Donkey to the bone to pay off school loans/bills I accrued while in school. I am also a glassblower, and I work as an X-ray Technologist to pay the bills at this point.
My short term goal (3-5yr): is to build my skills/style, while attempting to become independent (currently, to me that means covering the equipment and supply costs - breakeven) the only Sales I have been in were school based, but I was always in the top 5 non-faculty sellers when I participated.
Long term goal (10-15yr): Obtain a Masters of public administration, focusing on the non-profit sector. Ideally I would like to organize a residency program in the Toledo vicinity that would also include a youth outreach aspect. I would like to involve local youth in a apprenticeship/stewardship type program.
