I wish something that I love would come out of the kiln. But I think the "jinx" is taking photos of work before it goes in for bisque firing! Everything I show off doesn't make it! The stuff I don't photograph is FINE! So weird!

Sounds like Murphy's Law of firing pots...The better your clay piece, the more likely a lesser quality piece will come out of the glaze firing looking better. Yep. It happens.

It's the camera, when you take a picture it steals it's soul. You have to have camera spiritually cleansed. ( something with monks, medicine man, chanting, burning sage, throwing salt...Then after cleansing ask the pot if you can photograph it.

Yes indeed Evelyne. And I meant to say "Elementary Classroom". My high schoolers would love not having to center, but I actually want them to learn skills and techniques

most bags i open have mold. consider it a bonus!
