I know that 40% ferric chloride is OK for pit firing, but what amounts of dry ferric chloride do I use to mix up a 40% batch?  What is the ratio of water to FC?

  2. Thank you. I still have a lot of work to do on the consistency side of these bottles with small necks. Sometimes I just create a mess. Sometimes they happen easily.

I just made a couple of small saggar boxes for use in an electric kiln. Will be interested in your results.
