About Me

I began as a 2-D artist. My introduction to clay was love at first touch. I have been working in clay for many years. I love the process but have not focused very much on the technical. My primary focus is clay sculpture. Some of my pieces are large enough to require a kiln that allows room for 30 inches in any direction. The wall can be as thick as 1 and 1/2 inches. Today I am developing an interest in having a better understanding of the technical. I am hoping to learn more about clay, glazes, various approaches, processes and firings.
