About Me

I'm an artist and educator (High School), though I'm honestly not sure which one comes first. I have been working with clay/ ceramics for over a decade, and teaching it for about as long. I've taught in three different school districts, and at each one I have always put a great emphasis/ focus on my ceramics courses.
When it comes to my own work, I mainly focus on throwing, but have done some sculptural work, when an idea strikes me.
In the past couple years, I have slowly pieced my studio together, though it is far from complete. I also built my own Raku kiln, after growing quite found of the process, teaching it at my second school district.

I don't, currently, do much in terms of selling my work. I've had a few commissioned pieces, but beyond that, I make my works, because I enjoy doing so. Who knows, maybe once my studio is finished, I'll hop into the retail world. Until then, it's just fun getting my hands dirty.
