giltex
Can I put wax resist over the butterfly after I have glazed it and then dip the chiller, or brush the glaze on the chiller? Butterfly will be black and yellow.
oldlady
yes, the purpose of wax is to protect whatever is under it from anything wet that comes later. glaze-glaze silp-glaze one color glaze- another color glaze, etc.
Pugaboo
Ditto what oldlady said. Glaze the butterfly let the glaze dry then put in a coat of wax let dry and then dip the whole piece n whatever glaze you want. You might have to wipe a dot or two of the dip glaze off if there is a lot of texture but it barely sticks and should come off super easy. giltex
Thanks ladies. Thought it would work, but didn't want to mess up my butterfly.
