Some Changes To The Forum

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks!

Wanted to let you know that you may soon notice a couple of changes to the forum. We have observed that a lot of postings on studio equipment were being made in the "In the Studio" forum and decided that, perhaps, we needed to make new forum category dedicated to those posts. So we are creating a new forum called Equipment Use and Repair, which will be moderated by Bruce Ciske. Thanks Bruce! We are also going to tweak the names of a couple of forums to make them more clear and intuitive.

The moderators will be helping to move posts to the appropriate forums in the coming weeks and we think these changes will help make the forum more useful for everyone!

Happy posting!

Jennifer

I agree.  Thank you all for keeping the information and encouragement flowing!!  Even if I can't get my hands in mud every day I can get my fix from great questions and very knowledgeable answers (and lots of humor).

Hi---any further consideration of starting a forum for "off topic" matters---kinda like a coffee clutch (someone suggested to call it Cracked Pots), maybe a sort of supportive environment for the more personal, but art & soul-related, moans & brags of daily life, with or without clay at the core?

What about a forum based on building techinques.  I'm personaly more intrested inslab building and it seemslike I have to look all over to find something on the topic.  Yes there are some great videos but I'd love to see a forum where questions can be asked and recive multiple opinions.

I'm sure some people intrested in pinch pots, or wheel throwing might also like a form dedicated to there interest as well.
