Annabelle
I'm looking for a U.S. supplier for cone 6 bisque other than Mayco. Anyone know of anybody? Thanks, Annabelle
alabama
Hey, I've never used this company, but my friend who lives between Wetumpka and Eclectic has started to use them. She plans to ditch all her current glazes and use this company solely. She fires to cone 6, oxidation, and is quite pleased with the results. The company is Stone Mountain Clay and Glaze (Georgia, USA) and their web site is www.stonemountainclay.com Do the research by e-mail or calling and check out other sites as well. See what other forum posters say to get better advice. I'm learning about cone 6 oxidation brush on glazes, since I'm more of a cone 10 reduction person using 5 - 20 gallon buckets of glaze. It might help to know what state you're in. My friends testimony is why I posted. Good luck. Alabama
Annabelle
I'm in Florida and am accustomed to having to ship all my materials used in my production.
bevodaniel
I have used Stone Mountain Clay clay and glazes for a couple of years. Their clay and glazes are very well made. The owners are very nice and VERY knowledgeable about clay and glazes. However, they are not a supplier of pre-made bisque ware.
