High Bridge Pottery
I just woke up, I will have a proper read at work tonight. Could probably get the application written up as night shifts are quiet.
Tyler Miller
This is exciting and a very positive thing for the craft, but be careful with reality tv contracts. A few friends of mine were considering doing one and the contract basically gave the network permission to slander/libel them if they thought it would be good tv. Yeah, you wouldn't get me applying. But then I know my skill levels and have seen what they do to people on the sewing bee programme.
High Bridge Pottery
Rrr Chilly why not? The criticism could be fun. I sent them an email to ask how to apply. See what response I get. I am sure most contracts will say they can do whatever they want with the footage.

High Bridge Pottery
Totally forgot about this Woke up at 4am this morning having remembered. I must have been dreaming about pottery. Sent in my application even though it was past the deadline saying I was very sorry but luckily they had extended applications till the 25th of January. Wish me luck! Chilly
If they've extended the deadline it's probably because they hadn't received enough entries :-( I hope your entry means it will happen. So looking forward to this.
High Bridge Pottery
I hope they get enough people and I am 'lively' enough for them
Colby Charpentier
If they've extended the deadline it's probably because they hadn't received enough entries :-( I hope your entry means it will happen. So looking forward to this. If the UK is anything like the US, there are boatloads of underemployed, young skilled potters. Hope the program runs, it'd be really healthy for our industry (small steps).
High Bridge Pottery
Just had a phone interview fingers crossed I didn't mess it up too bad. Had to rate myself 1-10 on loads of stuff. How do I give a number for 'mixing glaze'
bciskepottery
Had to rate myself 1-10 on loads of stuff. How do I give a number for 'mixing glaze' If you manage to spill it down the front of your pants (with acknowledgements to ChenowethArts), give yourself an "11". High Bridge Pottery
Haha I have never made a teapot never mind having the skill to hit myself in the crotch multiple times with glaze. I realised after a while that when I was talking about my images that I sent in, I was talking about the complete wrong ones! haha I don't know how I managed that, or why the person on the phone didn't notice/say anything. Going to ring them back today and explain my f* up. That will teach me to search for files while on the phone and having multiple files with a few images in... Babs
YOU must have left them feeling totally bamboozled by your artspeak, don't phone them!
High Bridge Pottery
YOU must have left them feeling totally bamboozled by your artspeak, don't phone them! Never had any artspeak, always to the point. I think whoever I was speaking too didn't know much about ceramics. Why do you think I should not ring them back? Babs
Well....... If they did not realise you were giving a description of totally different vessels, why waste your phone $$? They may be thinking , my goodness this guy is so creative in his thought patterns, cant wait to see him "perform", so out there must be a true artist!!
